How to keep your legal status and how to apply for green card under Eb-1 and NIW categories(如何保持合法身份及如何申请特殊人才(EB-1)和国家利益豁免(NIW)绿卡)



陈文律师(Jessica W. Chen) 是休士顿著名华人律师。她是位于休士顿的金润律师事务所创办律师。陈律师是纽约州律师协会会员、亚裔律师协会会员、中国专家协会理事。陈律师是南德州联邦法庭出庭律师。陈律师成功处理过许多移民、公司、房地产交易和信托遗嘱有关案件。陈律师分别从中国人民大学和印第安那大学获取法律硕士学位,曾经在中国人民银行担任中级会计师。



陈文律师将重点讲解以下内容:

1.Legal Issues for F-1 Visa, Work Permit & OPT

Application学生

签证应当注意的法律事项以及如何申请工作许可及工作实习。

编辑部诚向在MIT就读的学者才子们征人征稿。

《东呈西就》其名,取西学中用之意,愿以古老东方的文字,记载中国学子
在麻省理工的不懈进取。查尔斯畔,中国留学生留下的足迹无数。《东呈西就》愿尽
绵薄之力,把这些足迹留在纸页间。

恰暑期将至,《东呈西就》编辑部即将上马,需编辑,记者,排版,美工各
数人。有此志趣的学者,同学,望能不吝指教,共同创刊。如您暑期时间恰好松
散,不妨一起来挑起第一期的大梁;如您工作繁忙,偶有闲暇时也不妨随兴来帮帮

Chinese Game Night (Sat, 8pm-11pm) at Student Center 306!
MIT CSSA cordially invites you to join our exciting Chinese Game Night this Saturday. Come and play Chinese games (poker, Mahjong and Three Kingdoms Battle/Sanguosha) with your friends! Yuanxiao, snacks and drinks are provided!

Moreover, we will host TOURNAMENTS for 80 points and Three Kingdoms Battle for our professional players! Winners will be rewarded gift cards! If you're not familiar with these games, don't worry! Our volunteers will teach you how to play! We also encourage you to bring your foreign friends, as it will be a great opportunity for them to get to know Chinese games and the traditional Lantern Festival.

2010 Spring Festival Gala
When: Feb. 6th Saturday 6:30pm, door opens at 5:45pm
Where: MIT Kresge Theater

The annual biggest Chinese Spring Festival Celebration in the Great Boston Area. In its 4th year, the attending universities have increased, and include MIT, Harvard, BU, BC, Northeastern U., Suffolk, UMass, Berklee College of Music, Bentley, Tufts, Brandeis, Mount Holyoke College, and Babson. Great performance from these colleges as well as popular Boston art groups will heat the night at MIT Kresge Theater. This is one of the largest Chinese community event in Boston area and is rated as one of the best way to celebrate the Spring Festival in local Boston. Click here for details of the performances.

Online: students / scholars $5 (please show valid ID at the entrance), all others $12

The 1st MIT Chinese Student Festival & Karaoke Contest
Where: Student Center Lobdell (2nd floor)
When: Jan. 30th. Saturday at 6pm

Be a witness of a new tradition starts!

We are glad to launch the 1st MIT Chinese Student Festival, featured with
performances all from MIT students and scholars. Come to see the amazing talent
of your fellow classmates and friends on the stage! To add more spice, a hot
karaoke contest will run through the party to light your ears! This is a unique
performance party around the year created solely by the MIT Chinese community.
